What an unexpected and lovely story! Beautifully written and engaging, with many elements of real life making it so alive. A little boy who is under cancer treatment, a good and kind doctor, and twin sisters who carry crosses with courage. The mystery is well woven, the suspense done just right. Everything is unraveled in time, and we get to know a lot about a beautiful grotto in Iowa. I enjoyed very much the many Catholic references as well. I highly recommend this short novel, and a wonderful value it is!Product details

This is a compelling mystery with the murders a sidelight to the mystery of love and divine mercy. A compelling story told well!
Fascinating story line. Well researched . Would recommend to anyone who enjoys a good mystery. Looking forward to the authors next novel.
This book was a couple of hours of pleasure. It concerns a sick child and it's affectionate toward that child. It is set in Northern Virginia and it has the right feel there. Several characters are Catholic and I can say she got how our life really is. And there is a big section on West Bend, Iowa. I haven't been there but now I want to. As to the murder mystery aspect, there are different kinds. If you like horror this is not going to speak to you, If you liked Agatha Christie then this will likely please you quite a bit. There is evil but not horror. I loved it and when done with the review I am going to read it again.
